Figure Skating Fashions

Figure Skating Fashions was born in a closet many years ago! It was literally the only place to set up my machines and so began the creative design process and my passion for clothing figure skaters!

I started out focusing on my daughter's skating dresses then turned my attention to my youngest son's skating outfits, occasionally I created dresses for their fellow skaters. Soon, it developed into a passion for creating unique designs to share with others.

My creative pursuits have included theatre set design, event planning, venue decor, theatre costuming, wedding and graduation dress design, ice show costumes, and custom skating pieces.

I listen to program music, take note of fashion trends, colour pallets, beautiful cuts of fabrics, listen to the needs of the skater/coach/choreographer, compile it all together and create unique pieces that will allow skaters to bring their performance to life!
